Overview

TOKYO STREETS is proud to announce the next workshop featuring Daiki Hosaka and Adam Benedicto. This time, we will be holding the workshop in Nakano. Nakano Station is located in the western part of Tokyo, in the Nakano ward. It's a vibrant, eclectic area that's a mix of old and new, with a strong local vibe and many interesting back alleys and izakaya making it perfect for street photography.

During the workshop, we will explain our process and what we look for in a scene to make it dynamic and stand out. We will cover topics like composition, subject choice, and some technical information. More importantly, we will be able to give you instant feedback on your work and be on hand to answer any specific question you have.

Daiki Hosaka

Daiki Hosaka is a prolific street photographer who leans heavilly into a cinematic expression to his work. His local knowledge of the streets of Tokyo is unrivaled, as is his energy and positive enthusiasm to all things photography.

Adam Benedicto

Adam is a photographer from London now based in Tokyo. He is interested in the energy that is unique to big cities and tries to convey this through his photography. Often searching out unique-looking characters and scenes to compose a view of the city which is often described as cinematic. His work often features reflections, abstractions and blurred movement that add a surreal feeling to his photography. Adam is also the curator and organsizer of the TOKYO STREETS exhibition and zine.
